The Association has weekly club matches held on the River Crossens every Sunday during the season, every member is welcome.
As from Sunday 5th October 2008 SDAA Winter matches will be held at Sluice Farm, Six Fields between the bridges on the River Crossens.

With the amount of water being flushed from the system getting bait presentation right proved to be a difficult.
Catches mainly consisted of bream and hybrids, with only one tench being landed in the match, worm and caster being the bait of the day.

The last summer sweep of the year saw a slight change in format, with a winner takes all "rover".
Brian Woods prevailed with a net of tench for 9lb+, with Paul Tabron missing out on top spot with 7lb 10oz of hybrids and tench. Frank Simpson completed the top three with 5lb of bream.
