Maintenance Projects

A summary of maintenance and work parties on the SDAA waters.

Please be patient with our projects as volunteers are hard to find. If you have a skill or just want to help, please phone Mr Derek Hodkinson 01704 229000 for details.

River Crossens

Pegs have been installed between Sluice Farm and Six Fields.
Work is ongoing and steps down to some of them have still to be completed.

Three Pools

Plans are going ahead for pegs to be constructed at Moss Lane .
This is an Environment Agency project and a start date TBA.

The 16 new platforms on the berm at Water Lane are now open to members only.
There are no Day Tickets for this water.
Please use the car park. Parking on the track and on top of the bank is not allowed.
A small shelter has been provided on the left of the track from Water Lane for members to relieve themselves behind.
Anglers who relieve themselves on the platforms and expose themselves to the residents who live opposite may be subject to a police enquiry if the residents complain.
The banks have been planted in order to protect the ground from washing away.
