Restocking of the Three Pools

General Information.
The Three Pools Waterway is a wide but shallow drain and is the boundary of Merseyside and West Lancs. from the pumping station at Banks to Pool Hey Lane Scarisbrick Lancs. This water has an ongoing restocking program following the major pollution incident of 2009, tench, bream, roach and pike have been introduced and it is now open for fishing .

Known Species.
Roach, bream, rudd, tench, perch and pike.

Special Conditions
This water open for members only. No day tickets are issued.
No night fishing, dawn to dusk only.
As with all SDAA waters alcohol is not allowed.
No dogs.
The national close season applies, no fishing between from 15th March to 15th June inclusive.
No fishing from the bridges.
All fish to be returned alive.

Location
The water runs along the eastern boundary of Southport.
Members should refer to their handbooks for details of access to this members only water.

Parking
Mainly roadside with a purpose built members only car park situated on Water Lane.
No parking or driving along the private track at Moss Lane. Please park on the road only.
